them unique is patented slow release system that allows them to
remain potent for long periods of time.
With other repellents that are sprayed on, they begin to break
down the moment they come in contact with the air. You have to
re-apply them every 2 or 3 weeks, and more if it rains. With
Plant ProTec, once they are activated, they will last for months
without further attention. And it’s nice not to be regularly
coating your plants with a spray.
The active ingredient is contained in a plastic container that
allows the repelling vapors out but does not allow air in to
oxidize the material. This way you and your kids and pets don’t
come in contact with the ingredients. (But they are harmless
if you do.) The plastic container will degrade in about 24 months.
