DEFEND YOUR LAWN’S ROOTS!

Grub Control contains 7 million tiny organisms called Beneficial Nematodes. They have the ability to seek out and penetrate larvae that live in the soil.

Control the grub life cycle by going after them before they emerge as adults. Grub Control works beneath the soil as a pro-active step toward keeping your yard and garden safe.

APPLICATION: Pour the entire contents of the container into a bucket of cool water. The amount of water is not critical. The more water you use the less concentrated the nematodes will be but will cover a larger area. Stir and let stand for 20 to 30 minutes to allow the nematodes to separate from the packing material. The beneficial nematodes will gradually sink to the bottom so stir occasionally as you pour to keep the nematodes distributed in the water. If using a sprayer, stir the bucket each time you fill the sprayer, and pour through a kitchen strainer to filter out the packing material. The strained material may be mixed into the soil since it likely contains some nematodes. Use the coarsest or highest rate setting on the sprayer to reduce damage to the nematodes as they come out of the nozzle. Remove any filters.  If using a watering can, stir and pour a portion of the liquid into the watering can and add more water, then water pots or affected soil. To use as a top dress or for planting simply mix the liquid with your potting mix.

Coverage: One container will cover approximately 2,000 square feet in ideal conditions. For heavier infestations cover 1,000 square feet.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Fungus Gnat Control (Steinernema feltiae) are microscopic in size and cannot be seen with the naked eye. But the 7 million active units in each container will hunt down, penetrate, and kill fungus gnat larvae.

FOR BEST RESULTS: Keep out of direct sun since the sunlight will kill the beneficial nematodes. Evening or very cloudy conditions are the best time to apply. Since nematodes travel in a moist environment, the area to be treated should be watered before application and for several days after application. If using indoors apply at the beginning of a dark cycle. Beneficial Nematodes do not affect humans, animals, or plants. They are completely compatible with beneficial insects such as ladybugs, lacewings, and praying mantids and do not harm earthworms.
